James Edward Talmage
James Edward Talmage (1862-1933) was born 21 Sep. 1862 in Hungerford, Berkshire, England. He was the son of Gabriel James Joyce Talmage and Hannah Susanna Preater. He married Merry May Booth on 14 Jun. 1888 in Manti, Sanpete Co., Utah Territory. He was baptized 21 Jul. 1873. He worked with and corresponded with Wilford Woodruff on academic, scientific, and religious matters from 1881 until Wilford's death in 1898. He died 27 Jul. 1933 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
