James Smith

1720-1806

James Smith (abt. 1720-1806) was born about 1720 in Ireland. He was the son of John Smith. He married Eleanor Armor about 1760. He died 11 Jul. 1806 in York, York Co., Pennsylvania. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
