Jared Carter

Jared Carter (1801-1849) was born 14 Jun. 1801 in Killingworth, Middlesex Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Gideon Carter and Johanna Sims. He married Lydia Ames on 20 Sep. 1823. He was baptized 20 Feb. 1831 in Colesville. He served on the Kirtland High Council with Wilford Woodruff. He died 6 Jul. 1849 in DeKalb Co., Illinois.
