Jemima Melvina Smoot Peck

Jemima Melvina Smoot Peck (1818-1908) was born 24 Apr. 1818 in Kentucky. She was the daughter of George Smoot and Nancy Rowlet. She married Hezekiah Peck on 2 Jul. 1840 in Lee Co., Iowa Territory, and they had eight children. She was baptized 22 Mar. 1835 in Henry Co., Tennessee. She attended the Blood River Branch in 1835 in Henry Co., Tennessee when Wilford Woodruff was a missionary there. She died 4 Aug. 1908 in Lamoni, Decatur Co., Iowa.
