Joel Hills Johnson

Joel Hills Johnson (1802-1882) was born 23 Mar. 1802 in Grafton, Worcester Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Ezekiel Johnson and Julia Hills. He married Anna P. Johnson on 2 Nov. 1826 in Canadaway, Chautauqua Co., New York; widowed 11 Sep. 1840. He married Susan Bryant on 20 Oct. 1840. He was baptized 1 Jun. 1831 in Amherst, Lorain Co., Ohio. He served in church positions with Wilford Woodruff from 1852 to about 1881. He died 24 Sep. 1882 in Johnson, Kane Co., Utah Territory.
