Joel Turnham
1784 - 1862
Joel Turnham (1783-1862) was born 23 Sep. 1783 in Virginia. He married Elizabeth Rice on 14 Feb. 1806 in Jefferson Co., Kentucky. He served as Clay Co., Missouri court judge and moderated meetings between Clay Co. residents and early Church members, which Wilford Woodruff recorded in The History of Zion's Camp. He died 24 Aug. 1862 in Milam Co., Texas.
