John Banks

John Banks (1806-1862) was born 6 Feb. 1806 in Lancashire, England. He married Ellen Kendall on 28 Aug. 1836 in Manchester, Lancashire, England. He was baptized 6 Sep. 1840. He worked closely with Wilford Woodruff on church matters in 1845 in England, and he spoke at meetings that Wilford Woodruff attended in the 1850s in Utah Territory. He died 15 Jun. 1862 in South Weber, Davis Co., Utah Territory.
