John Cleveland

John Cleveland (1790-1860) was born 21 May 1790 in Duanesburg, Schenectady Co., New York. He was the son of Gardner Cleveland and Annis Durkee. He married Sarah Marietta Kingsley Howe in 1826. He hosted Joseph and Emma Smith in Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois in 1839, and Wilford Woodruff visited them in his home during that time. He died 24 Nov. 1860 in Plymouth, Hancock Co., Illinois.
