John Deveraux (Devreux, Deveroux) (1800-1895) was born 6 Apr. 1800 in Dymock, Gloucestershire, England. He was the son of Joseph Deveraux and Elizabeth Hayward. He married Esther Cockshute on 26 Feb. 1827 in Ledbury, Herefordshire, England; widowed. He married Ann Perkins Price on 10 Jul. 1857 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He was baptized under the direction of Wilford Woodruff on 20 Jun. 1840 in Fromes Hill, Herefordshire, England. He died 9 Feb. 1895 in Pleasant Grove, Utah Co., Utah Territory.
