John Hart

5 Nov 1713 - 11 May 1779

John Hart (1713-1779) was christened 21 Dec. 1713 in Maidenhead, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey, British Colonial America. He was the son of Edward Hart and Martha Furman. He married Deborah Scudder in 1739. He died 11 May 1779 in Hopewell, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
