John Josiah Talbot
John Josiah Talbot (1835-1908) was born 23 Aug. 1835 in Grahamstown, Albany, Cape Colony, Africa. He was the son of Henry Talbot and Ruth Sweetnam. He married Jane Broke Hunter in 1859; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 27 Jun. 1858 in Grahamstown. He and WIlford Woodruff spoke at a meeting in the Tabernacle in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory on 6 Nov. 1864. He died 25 Feb. 1908 in Hinckley, Millard Co., Utah.
