John Morton

John Morton (1724-1777) was born in 1724 in Ridley, Chester Co., Pennsylvania, British Colonial America. He was the son of John Morton and Maria Ellen Archer. He married Ann Justis in 1749 in Ridley. He died 1 Apr. 1777 in Ridley. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
