John (NT)

John (John the Beloved) was the son of Zebedee and brother of James. He wrote the Gospel of John, three epistles, and the book of Revelation. He was one of the original Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, and returned with Peter and James to restore the Melchizedek Priesthood in the last dispensation. He is a scriptural figure in the New Testament referred to by Wilford Woodruff.
