John Penn

1741-1788

John Penn (1741-1788) was born 17 May 1741 in Caroline Co., Virginia, British Colonial America. He was the son of Moses Penn and Catharine Taylor. He married Susanna Lyne. He died Sep. 1788 in North Carolina. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
