John Ray Young
John Ray Young (1837-1931) was born 30 Apr. 1837 in Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio. He was the son of Lorenzo Dow Young and Persis Goodall. He married Albina Terry on 1 Jan. 1859 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized about 1845. His mission calls in 1854 and 1864 were mentioned by Wilford Woodruff in his journal, and they corresponded in Apr. 1878. He died 15 Sep. 1931 in Provo, Utah Co., Utah.
