John Rowberry

John Rowberry (1825-1884) was christened 16 Jan. 1825 in Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, England. He was the son of John Rowberry and Mary Parry. He married Hannah Eliza Barber Jenkins between 1842 and 1846; widowed 5 Oct. 1852. He married Mary Ann Gollaher on 31 Jan. 1853; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized by Wilford Woodruff on 21 Jun. 1840 in Fromes Hill, Herefordshire, England. He was visted by Wilford Woodruff during his service as a bishop from 1853 to 1871, and he was ordained a Patriarch by Wilford Woodruff in 1877. He died 4 Apr. 1884 in Tooele, Tooele Co., Utah Territory.
