John Thornton

John Thornton (1786-1847) was born 24 Dec. 1786 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. He was the son of William Thornton Sr. and Sarah Jane Allison. He married Elizabeth Trigg on 10 Feb. 1820 in Old Franklin, Howard Co., Missouri. He was a legal representative of Clay Co., Missouri when Wilford Woodruff was part of Zion's Camp in 1834. He died 24 Oct. 1847 in Clay Co., Missouri.
