Jonathan Burgess

Jonathan Burgess (1785-1869) was born 15 Oct. 1785 in Chatham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Ezekiel Burgess and Lydia Eldredge. He married Hannah Airy on 5 Oct. 1804 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Maine. He was baptized 27 Sep. 1837 on the South Fox Island, Hancock Co., Maine, and Wilford Woodruff was present. He hosted Wilford Woodruff regulary from 1837 to 1838 in Maine. He died in 1869 in Vinalhaven, Knox Co., Maine.
