Jonathan Pugmire

Jonathan Pugmire (1799-1876) was born 28 Mar. 1799 in Cumberland, England. He was the son of Jonathan (Lincoln) Pugmire and Mary (Hannah) Hetherington. He married Elizabeth Barnes before 1825 in England; widowed about 1846 in Iowa Territory. He married Mary before 1860; widowed 15 Nov. 1861. He married Elizabeth before 1870. He was baptized 14 Nov. 1841 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. He attended a church meeting with Wilford Woodruff in 1855, and Wilford Woodruff was present when he was ordained a Patriarch on 7 May 1873 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He died 9 Aug. 1876 in Salt Lake City.
