Joseph Fabyan Carter

Joseph Fabyan Carter (1798-1873) was born 11 Dec. 1798 in Scarborough, Cumberland Co., Maine. He was the son of Ezra Carter and Sarah (Sally) Fabyan and a brother of Phebe Whittemore Carter, who married Wilford Woodruff. He married Rhoda Milliken in 1829 in Scarborough; widowed in 1855. He married Rosanna Harmon Foss on 4 Feb. 1860 in Saco, York Co., Maine. He died 30 Sep. 1873 in Scarborough.
