Joseph Hamilton Brotherton
Joseph Hamilton Brotherton (1822-1874) was born 27 Feb. 1822 and christened in Manchester, Lancashire, England. He was the son of Thomas Brotherton and Sarah Hamilton. He married Elizabeth H. Monroe on 29 Jul. 1843 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. He was baptized 11 Oct. 1840. He attended a meeting in England with Wilford Woodruff in 1841. He died 17 Aug. 1874 in Harrogate, Yorkshire, England.
