Joseph Russell

Joseph Russell (1783-1855) was born in 1783 in Clackmannan, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. He was the son of Thomas Russell and Jenette Russell. He married Ann Agnes Hunter on 20 Sep. 1819 in Chatham, Northumberland, New Brunswick, British North America; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized about 1841. He met Wilford Woodruff in 1848 in Canada, and they corresponded regularly until 1855. He died 10 Mar. 1855 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
