Joseph Smith, Sr.

Smith, Joseph (1771-1840), was born on 12 Jul. 1771 at Topsfield, Essex County, Massachusetts. He was the son of Asael Smith and Mary Duty. He was baptized on 6 Apr. 1830. He was married to Lucy Mack on 24 Jan. 1796. He died on 14 Sep. 1840 at Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinois.
