Joseph Young (1729- abt. 1769) was born 12 Feb. 1729 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. He was the son of William Young and Susanna Cotton. He married Elizabeth Hayden Treadway on 21 Aug. 1759 in Hopkinton, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. His history was written by his grandson, Brigham Young, and Wilford Woodruff on 18 Aug. 1856. He died about 1769 in Boston.
