Josiah Libby
Josiah Libby (Libbee) (1776-1852) was born 16 Mar. 1776 in Scarborough, Cumberland Co., Maine, British Colonial America. He was the son of Josiah Libby and Eunice Libby. He married Elizabeth Libby on 27 Sep. 1798 in Scarborough; widowed 26 Sep. 1843. He married Abigail Shaw on 2 Oct. 1844 in Falmouth, Cumberland Co., Maine. He was mentioned in Wilford Woodruff's journal on 15 Sep. 1843 while Wilford was visiting Scarborough. He died 26 Sep. 1852 and was buried in Yarmouth, Cumberland Co., Maine.
