Levi Mathers Savage
Levi Mathers Savage (1851-1935) was born 11 Jan. 1851 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of Levi Savage Jr. and Jane Mathers. He married Sarah Martha Marintha Althera Wright on 6 Oct. 1874 in Salt Lake City; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 15 Jul. 1860 in Fillmore, Millard Co., Utah Territory. He served as a Bishop in the Arizona Territory and was a frequent correspondent of Wilford Woodruff from 1879 to 1898. He died 15 Mar. 1935 in Salt Lake City.
