Levi Savage Sr.
Levi Savage Sr. (1790-1874) was born 25 Aug. 1790 in Hebron, Washington Co., New York. He was the son of Daniel Savage and Sally Parish. He married Polly Haynes on 21 Aug. 1817 in Greenfield, Huron Co., Ohio; widowed 17 Feb. 1847. He married Sabra Wixon in Sep. 1847 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in Oct. 1843 in Van Buren Co., Michigan. He was mentioned by Wilford Woodruff in his journal on 17 Aug. 1862 in the context of a Church meeting. He died 27 Sep. 1874 in Willard, Box Elder Co., Utah Territory.
