Lewis Allen (1813-1883) was born 11 Jun. 1813 in Somerset, Pulaski Co., Kentucky. He was the son of Rial Allen and Margaret Evans. He married Elizabeth Alexander on 10 Oct. 1836 in Far West, Caldwell Co., Missouri. He was baptized in 1834. He attended church services with Wilford Woodruff in 1835 and 1836 in Kentucky and contributed to Wilford's missionary fund. He died 24 Jan. 1883 in Orderville, Kane Co., Utah Territory.
