Lewis Gaulter
Lewis Gaulter (1817-1913) was born 28 Oct. 1817 in La Rochelle, Charente-Maritime, France. He was the son of Loren Gaulter. He married Harriet Eliza Morgan on 31 Dec. 1845. He was baptized Feb. 1844 in New Orleans, Orleans Pa., Louisiana. He hosted Wilford Woodruff on 15 Jul. 1848, and he corresponded with Wilford in Dec. 1848. He died 14 Feb. 1913 in Lamoni, Decatur Co., Iowa.
