Lewis Sanford Abrams
Lewis Sanford Abrams (1838-1916) was born in Feb. 1838 in New York. He was the son of Lewis Abrams and Martha Brower. He married Phebe Amelia Pettit on 10 Jun. 1861 in Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York; widowed 30 Jan. 1878. He married Rosanna Pettit about 1878. His daughter, Lois Amelia Abrams, died 8 Oct. 1874, and Wilford Woodruff attended the funeral on 9 Oct. 1874. He died 1 Dec. 1916 in Hempstead, Nassau Co., New York.
