Louisa Beman Smith Young (1815-1850) was born 7 Feb. 1815 in Livonia, Ontario Co., New York. She was the daughter of Alvah Beman and Sarah Burtt. She was sealed to Joseph Smith on 5 Apr. 1841 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois; widowed 27 Jun. 1844. She was sealed to Brigham Young on 19 Sep. 1844 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois. She was mentioned by Wilford Woodruff in an 1869 journal entry. She died 16 May 1850 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake, Utah Territory.
