Lucius Nelson Scovil

Lucius (Lucian) Nelson Scovil (1806-1889) was born 18 Mar. 1806 in Middlebury, New Haven Co., Connecticut. He was the son of Joel Scovil and Lydia. He married Lury Snow on 8 Jun. 1828. He was baptized 2 Jul. 1836. He served with Wilford Woodruff in church and community positions in Nauvoo, Hancock Co. Illinois, and Utah Territory. He died 14 Feb. 1889 in Springville, Utah Co., Utah Territory.
