Mary Philipse Morris

Mary Philipse Morris (1730-1825) was born 5 Jul. 1730. She was the daughter of Frederick Philipse and Johanna Brockholst. She married Roger Morris on 19 Jan. 1758 in New York, Kings Co., New York, British Colonial America, and they had four children. She died 18 Jul. 1825, and was buried in York, North Yorkshire, England. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
