Matilda Coley Griffing Bancroft
Matilda Coley Griffing Bancroft (1848-1910) was born about 11 May 1848 in Connecticut. She was the daughter of John Starr Griffing and Mary Coley. She married Hubert Howe Bancroft on 12 Oct. 1876 in New Haven, and they had four children. She met with Wilford Woodruff on 4 and 16 Sep. 1884 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory. She died 8 Aug. 1910 in San Francisco, San Francisco Co., California.
