Melina Sherief (Sherriffe) Cook (1778-1857) was christened 12 Nov. 1778 in Cradley, Herefordshire, England. She was the daughter of James Sherief and Mary Woodyatt. She married John Cook on 28 Apr. 1803 in Mathon, Worcestershire, England, and they had three children. She was baptized by Wilford Woodruff on 10 May 1840 in Colwall, Herefordshire, England, and was included in Wilford's record of individuals baptized in England in 1840. She was buried 29 Apr. 1857 in Great Malvern, Worcestershire, England.
