Miles Romney

Miles Romney (Rumney) (1806-1877) was born 13 Jul. 1806 in Dalton-in-Furness, Lancashire, England. He was the son of George Romney and Sarah King. He married Elizabeth Gaskell on 6 Dec. 1830 in Dalton-in-Furness. He was baptized 11 Nov. 1835. He died 3 May 1877 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah Territory, and Wilford Woodruff spoke at his funeral.
