Nathaniel V. Jones

1822-1863
Nathaniel V. Jones (1822-1863) was born 13 Oct. 1822 in Brighton, Monroe Co., New York. He was the son of Samuel Jones and Lucinda. He married Rebecca M. Burton on 14 Mar. 1845 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized about 1841. He was set apart for his mission by Wilford Woodruff and others in 1859, and he and Wilford Woodruff attended many meetings together from 1856 to 1863. He died 15 Feb. 1863 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
