Newton Woodruff Jr. (1886-1972) was born 31 Aug. 1886 in Smithfield, Cache Co., Utah Territory. He was the son of Newton Woodruff and Catherine Amelia Partington and a grandson of Wilford Woodruff. He married Hanna Eliza Funk Sorenson on 20 Dec. 1905 in Logan, Cache Co., Utah; widowed 23 Oct. 1934. He married Gladys Baer Baxter about Sep. 1937. He was baptized 31 Aug. 1894. He died 21 Sep. 1972 in Preston, Franklin Co., Idaho.
