Philander Avery

Philander Avery (1822-1907) was born 13 Jun. 1822 in Franklin Co., Ohio. He was the son of Daniel Avery and Margaret Adams. He married Elizabeth Meeks. He was kidnapped in 1843; the event was mentioned by Wilford Woodruff in his journal. He died 9 May 1907 in Camden, Schuyler Co., Illinois.
