Prudence Snape Gilbert
Prudence Snape Gilbert (1778-1852) was christened 1 Nov. 1778 in Sandon, Staffordshire, England. She was the daughter of Richard Snape and Catharine Sandbitch. She married William Gilbert on 28 Dec. 1801 in Stafford, Staffordshire, England, and they had seven children. She hosted Wilford Woodruff overnight on 17 Feb. 1840 in Stone, Staffordshire, England while Wilford Woodruff was serving as a missionary, and he preached in her home on 17 Feb. 1840 and 24 Feb. 1840. She died 21 Dec. 1852 and was buried in Stone.
