Robert Treat Paine

Robert Treat Paine (1730-1814) was born 12 Mar. 1730 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts Bay, British Colonial America. He was the son of Thomas Paine and Eunice Treat. He married Sally Cobb about 8 Mar. 1770. He died 11 May 1814 in Boston. He was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and one of the eminent men for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
