Samuel Amos Woolley

Samuel Amos Woolley (1825-1900) was born 11 Sep. 1825 in Newlin, Chester Co., Pennsylvania. He was the son of John Woolley and Rachel Dilworth. He married Catherine Elizabeth Mehring on 21 May 1846 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized 7 Oct. 1840. He preached in meetings that Wilford Woodruff attended from 1856 to 1882, and Wilford Woodruff attended his seventieth birthday celebration. He died 23 Mar. 1900 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
