Samuel Whitney Richards

Samuel Whitney Richards (1824-1909) was born 9 Aug. 1824 in Richmond, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Phineas Richards and Wealthy Dewey. He married Mary Heskin Parker about 1846; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in Nov. 1838. He served alongside Wilford Woodruff in various church and community positions from 1850 through 1897. He died 26 Nov. 1909 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah.
