Sarah Burtt Beman

Sarah (Sally) Burtt Beman (1775-1840) was born 27 Apr. 1775 in Lyme, New London Co., Connecticut, British Colonial America. She was the daughter of Joseph Burt and Elizabeth Peck. She married Alvah Beman on 18 Aug. 1796. She was baptized before 1835 in New York. She moved to Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio, where she knew the family of Wilford Woodruff. She died 29 Aug. 1840 in Nauvoo, Hancock Co., Illinois.
