Sarah Fabyan Carter

Carter, Sarah Fabyan (1775-1845), was born on 8 Apr. 1775 in Limerick, York County, Maine. She was the daughter of Joshua Fabyan and Sarah Brackett. Sarah was the mother of Wilford Woodruff’s wife, Phebe (Phoebe) Whittemore Carter. Sarah married Ezra Carter Jr. on 2 Sep. 1797 in Scarborough, Cumberland County, Maine and was the mother of twelve children. She died on 24 Jul. 1845 in Scarborough. She is buried in the Dustan Cemetery in Scarborough.
