Sarah Pulsipher Alger

1824-1909

Sarah Pulsipher Alger (1824-1909) was born 2 Nov. 1824 in Spafford, Onondaga Co., New York. She was the daughter of Zerah Pulsipher and Mary Brown. She married John Alger on 6 Jan. 1842 in Hancock Co., Illinois, and they had eleven children. She was baptized 2 Nov. 1832. She served as a proxy for one of Wilford Woodruff's ancestors on 1 Mar. 1877 in the St. George Utah Temple. She died 1 Jan. 1909 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah.
