Sheldon Wooster
Sheldon Wooster (1785-1862) was born about 25 Aug. 1785. He was the son of Joseph Wooster and Hannah Woodruff. He married Sally before 23 Feb. 1812; widowed 6 Jan. 1818. He married Lucy Ann Bennet before 3 Mar. 1818 in Newtown, Fairfield Co., Connecticut. He hosted Wilford Woodruff on 2 May 1849 in Naugatuck, New Haven Co., Connecticut, and wrote Wilford a letter on 31 Mar. 1850. He died 19 Feb. 1862 and was buried in Oxford, New Haven Co., Connecticut.
