Silas Richards

Silas Richards (1807-1884) was born 18 Dec. 1807 in Highland Co., Ohio. He was the son of Augustus Richards and Frances Lee Doggett. He married Elizabeth McClanahan on 5 Nov. 1829 in Shelby Co., Ohio; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in 1840. He attended meetings with Wilford Woodruff from 1854 to 1856, and he hosted Wilford Woodruff at his home in Jan. 1857. He died 17 Mar. 1884 in Union, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
