Simon Magus (NT)

Simon Magnus was a sorcerer in Samaria who was converted to the Gospel and was baptized. He witnessed the conferring of the Holy Ghost by the apostles and offered them money for the priesthood power to officiate in this ordinance. He is a scriptural figure in the New Testament referred to by Wilford Woodruff.
