Stephen Wells Taylor
Stephen Wells Taylor (1834-1920) was born 16 Dec. 1834 in Dukinfield, Cheshire, England. He was the son of George Taylor and Catherine Broadbent. He married Harriet C. Seely about 1858; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized about 1844. He spoke at General Conference on 9 Apr. 1857 in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory, which Wilford Woodruff attended, and he and Wilford spoke at a meeting on 10 Sep. 1871 in Salt Lake City. He died 22 Mar. 1920 in Salt Lake City.
